My name is Erin Osetek. I am a Registered Dietitian living in North Carolina. I have been working in the nutrition field for almost nine years now. I completed my Bachelors of Science in Nutrition at Syracuse University and completed my Dietetic Internship there as well. After I completed my coursework, internship and sat for my registration exam, I began working in the dialysis field. I have also facilitated weight management instruction for individuals and groups through various companies over the past years. I earned a certificate of weight management through the Commission on Dietetic Registration and currently hold a specialty certification in renal nutrition.
I decided to go back to school and focus on both nutrition and wellness in 2012 and in 2014 graduated with my Masters of Science in Nutrition and Wellness from Benedictine University.
I love to run with others and on my own and have been participating in sports since a young age. I have completed several half marathons, marathons and ultramarathons as well as a 70.3 half Ironman and am very familiar with the struggle that athletes face when looking at nutrition strategies for training and racing for various sports. Currently I am pursuing my specialty certification in Sports Nutrition.
Family and Life
Our family continues to grow with two four legged furry friends and a new two legged baby. My husband and I keep very busy and motivated in our professional lives as well as our family life. My husband Chris owns Osetek Technologies and, together with the racing crew and driver, builds and runs the Osetek #55 Supermodified Race Team.
I have a passion for writing and running and do both as frequently as I can. I am hoping to publish my first book by the end of 2016 and have several eBooks with recipes and nutrition tips I am hoping to share soon!
